Most renovation disasters in this city start the same way. A contractor quotes one lump sum over tea, takes a large advance, and then the story changes every week β material prices went up, the plumber wants more, the tiles you chose are βnot availableβ so a cheaper set quietly goes in. By the time you find out, the money is spent and the work is half done.
RenovateKarachi exists to run the job the other way round. You get a written, itemised BOQ (bill of quantities) before a single wall is touched β every material named, every rate written down. The project is split into stages, and you pay for a stage only when you have seen it finished, in photos and video. Our supervision fee is a flat, declared 10β15% of the project value. That is the whole business model: we earn by keeping your project honest, not by inflating it.
We renovate houses and flats across Karachi β DHA, Clifton, PECHS, Bahria Town, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Johar, North Nazimabad and Scheme 33 β and we publish our planning price ranges openly on this site, because a contractor who hides every number until the site visit usually has something to hide.

Old bathrooms leak, fittings seize up and tiles date the whole house. Most owners keep patching them for years because they fear the mess and the open-ended bill of a full remodel.

A proper remodel strips the bathroom back, redoes the waterproofing and plumbing first, then tiles and fittings. Priced as one written BOQ β a basic flat bathroom runs about Rs 1.3β1.8 lakh, all-in.

Free survey, written BOQ, stage payments and weekly video reports β for owners in Karachi and abroad.
